Debbie has a Master of Arts in Biblical and Professional Counseling and is currently licensed in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has over 7 years experience helping women, children and families cope with life transitions and overcome trauma and abuse. Debbie offers individual therapy, child-centered play therapy , parenting skills development , group therapy in connecting as a family through play, and individual and group therapy in recovery from Domestic Violence.
Debbie believes that warm acceptance and empowerment are the key factors in helping individuals discover their unique resources to meet the challenges in their lives effectively. Debbie provides individual, family and group therapy to people from varying cultural backgrounds. In addition to her relational, nonjudgmental approach with clients Debbie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) levels 1 & 2 and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).
